For the JV wrestling meet tonight (1/25/2021) we will allow a maximum of 6 people from the household of each wrestler plus two additional spectators who will need to use the wrestling passes that were issued earlier this year. Everyone needs to wear a mask and practice social distancing while sitting in your designated school sections. Wrestlers for each team should also sit in the section with their fans. Thanks for your help in keeping people healthy and allowing us to have these events.

The first graders enjoyed learning about space with Mr. Monteith this morning. We learned a lot about his experience at space academy! Some of us were even lucky enough to launch a rocket!

Mrs. Throndson received the McElroy grant. Keystone AEA has partnered with the R.J. McElroy Trust for approximately 19 years to provide teachers with grant money to fund innovative classroom projects. This school year there were 47 teachers who applied for the grant and 16 teachers were able to get their ideas funded. Mrs. Throndson's project was STEM to Go. This project includes a backpack that contains two books (one fiction and one nonfiction) and one to two STEM activities related to the books. As a take-home option, families have the opportunity to also engage in the activities together with their children. These STEM backpacks will be able to be checked out from the elementary library.
