Mrs. Schmitt 7th Grade FCS classes have started their simple labs of foods the students can make at home; with their parents' permission. Today's lab was making scrambled eggs. First the students learned safety regarding using the stove.
Mrs. Schmitt's 7th Grade FCS (Family & Consumer Science) students learned how to make garlic cheese bread! This is a great side dish to make whenever you are making pasta dishes.

Mrs. Heeren’s class came to the library for an innovation lab! As all innovation labs have, we started off with a story then a stem challenge. This group that to create a pulley that would life a potato!
Mrs. Heeren's second grade class enjoyed working with Lucky Charms to count and then graph their cereal treats. They were also asked to compare and interpret their numbers. They enjoyed the best part at the end, getting to eat their cereal treats!
Mr. Jurrens presents information about the Chickasaw Tribe to 3rd Grade. The third graders have been studying different Native American Tribes. Mr. Jurrens taught the students how to research information and to look at multiple sources. Thank you Mr. Jurrens for sharing with us.

Another great individual speech season has concluded with several students earning Division 1 ratings. Congratulations to the students that made it to perform at All State on March 28th. Sarah Eiler was selected in Literary Program and AJ Vetter was selected in Acting.
We will have 1 hour early dismissal due to the parent-teacher conference Tuesday, March 22nd and Thursday, March 24th. We will not have school on Friday, March 25th.
