On Wednesday and Thursday 8th grade students need to wear close-toed shoes (no crocs) and jeans (no or minimal holes/rips) as they are touring industrial businesses. Also, they should bring a sack lunch tomorrow if they didn't sign up for a school lunch.

The varsity FB banquet will be held on Thursday, November 17th at 6:30 pm in the high school cafeteria. It will be catered by Poor Richards. Cost will be $11.50 per plate which will include Broasted Chicken, Pizza, Cole Slaw, and broasted potatoes. Cookies will be provided for dessert. Following the meal there will be a brief program to recognize team members for their accomplishments. New Hampton will be charging admission for the middle school girl's BB game on November 8th versus Waukon. The following will be our guidelines. The admittance fee is as follows: $2/per student and $3/per adult with a maximum of $5/per family. Everyone should enter through the lobby entrance that was formerly used to enter the old high school gym. Thank you.

They also had a chance to touch base with New Hampton Alumni Claire Quirk who is currently pursuing a degree in Aerospace Engineering and is part of the ROTC program at Iowa State University.
