Check out the display case in the lower lobby. It is currently displaying projects that shop students have been producing in classes this semester.

In our Spanish classes, students often tell stories that can be outlandish at times. These stories help students to hear, write, and understand the vocabulary target structures within sentence context to embed learning. The activities after each story vary, and here are two examples of a Cooperative Mural activity where students retell the story with pictures.

It was mock astronaut testing in Spanish III again. Our curriculum takes us through a variety of topics, subject matters, and cultural knowledge. This unit, the students studied very briefly the Universe. The students took some fun little tests to see who could be an astronaut, and the top scorers were given certificates as the class astronaut. The other students were top scorers in the individual categories. Congratulations to all these students!

Interact Club just finished a HUGE project by making close to 100 fleece tie-blankets. The club received a $500 grant, and many donations from individuals of material to get all the supplies. Thank you to the leader, Sklyer B., and all the members of Interact, iJAG, and the individuals who all made the blankets. The blankets were made for students in our district from a particular program. This picture is only a small amount of the total blankets made.
