Attention New Hampton Parents and Community:
The following link will allow you to view our TK-4th NH Elementary Winter Concert of 2020.
This link will be open for viewing from today until January 18th, 2021, and then sharing settings will be turned off due to copyright laws.
Our students worked hard this year to put a performance together and are so glad we can share it with you.
Students have not seen their performance so they can "unwrap" this gift of music with you over Winter Break. Many are looking forward to seeing other grade levels as well.

Enjoy! Happy Holidays from the NH Elementary!
Thank you to Mrs. Reetz for being creative and finding a way to make this work this year!
This fall, the students and teachers at New Hampton Elementary and Middle School were lucky enough to have classes in person. Jeff Monteith, K-12 Extended Learning Program (ELP) Teacher, is taking full advantage of his physical classroom by keeping his students busy with all sorts of fun and interactive activities for learning. One gadget that's a big hit in Mr. Monteith’s classroom is Unruly Splats. Splats are codable floor buttons that light up, make sounds, and collect points when they are stomped on. Students code the rules to create active games with the Splats app on their iPads and get the whole class on their feet by playing student-coded games like relay races and 4 corners. Mr. Monteith is having a blast challenging his students to expand their coding and problem-solving skills while having fun! Check out this video of his students doing a fitness circuit! https://vimeo.com/489447146
“My younger students are excited to use the splats as a game challenge and my older students are excited to write the programs and bring the games they envision to life,” said Mr. Monteith.
New Hampton Community Schools will have a one hour early dismissal on Tuesday, December 22nd for the Holiday Break. Enjoy your holidays!!

Further clarification on the Governor's mandate: Only households of participating athletes/cheerleaders/coaches may attend scheduled events. All family members of participates should arrive as a group with a conference pass.
Tonight's Double Dual between NH/TV, Charles City, and Oelwien will allow members of the same household into the event with conference issued passes. Masks and social distancing are required in the gym. Spectators will only be allowed in the gym when their team is wrestling. When not wrestling, spectators will be sent to the cafeteria to wait for the next dual. NH/TV fans should not arrive until 6:50 as NHTV does not wrestle in the first dual. We will be clearing the gym between duals to allow for sanitization. Oelwein fans are asked to sit on the south bleachers (furthest from entry) and Charles City fans are asked to sit on the north bleachers for the first dual. We will have a concession stand available, but all food and drink must be consumed in the cafeteria and cannot be brought into the gym.
