Build the Tallest Tower with spaghetti and marshmallows. This was a team building activity to promote a positive growth mindset.




Foods I students (two sections) made omelets after learning knife skills and prepping terms. It is amazing how good they tasted when you add a little bit of garlic and squeeze lemon juice when you are sauteing.

Thank you to Mrs. Roberson for coming into Baking I Class and helping the students ice sugar cookies. The cookies were made for Industrial Tech's open house on Monday, October 24th. Leaves, hammers, and saw cookies were made and designed by the students.


Reminder that today we will run a 1 hour early out schedule for conferences at the high school. We look forward to seeing parents tonight. We will be featuring our CTE departments at an open house from 5-7 pm in the lower lobby. Stop in to try our Take and Bake Pizza and FFA Jam. Learn more about our MOC program and tour the Industrial Technology Shop. On Thursday we will help parents with FASFA and learn more about dual enrolled classes with NICC during conferences.

Congratulations to our Girls' Cross Country team on qualifying as a team for the State meet on October 28th! They placed 3rd in the district meet. First time as a team since 1997! Also congratulations to PJ Anderson for qualifying as an individual in the boys' race. He will also compete on October 28th!

Foods I Class (two sections) put their new skills of prep terms and knife skills to the test by making omelets. They were delicious and every group did an excellent job of team work and time management.

Monday, October 24th from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. during conferences you will be able to taste test free pizza samples of our Tribe Pizzas! The students will be selling 10 different kinds of 12" pizzas and taking orders. Please stop by to see their display board.

7th graders in Mr Rude's social studies classes have been interviewing people about leadership and making documentaries. Some of their guests have been local leaders like D.J. Schueth and some from outside the area like Nashville Recording artist Corey Farley.
