Foods I students (two sections) made omelets after learning knife skills and prepping terms. It is amazing how good they tasted when you add a little bit of garlic and squeeze lemon juice when you are sauteing.

Reminder that today we will run a 1 hour early out schedule for conferences at the high school. We look forward to seeing parents tonight. We will be featuring our CTE departments at an open house from 5-7 pm in the lower lobby. Stop in to try our Take and Bake Pizza and FFA Jam. Learn more about our MOC program and tour the Industrial Technology Shop. On Thursday we will help parents with FASFA and learn more about dual enrolled classes with NICC during conferences.

Congratulations to our Girls' Cross Country team on qualifying as a team for the State meet on October 28th! They placed 3rd in the district meet. First time as a team since 1997! Also congratulations to PJ Anderson for qualifying as an individual in the boys' race. He will also compete on October 28th! Go Chickasaws!
