
Main Street West Showcase is tonight at 7pm in the elementary auditorium! Come see solos and duets that students and teachers have prepared as well as support the Jazz Choir! $5 for adults and $3 for students, activity passes are accepted!

Carnegie Cultural Center is going to have an art show featuring New Hampton High School students’ artwork. Their artworks are on display from now to May 15. They are going to have an artists’ reception on Sunday afternoon, May 7, from 2 pm to 4 pm.

In March New Hampton Middle School 8th graders collaborated with the New Hampton Pickleball Club to host a pickleball tournament fundraiser. Recently, Members of the pickleball club presented the 8th graders with a $1,200 donation to be used for their upcoming cultural trip to Des Moines.


Baking II Class is currently doing "Baking Around the World." Marge Strum was Baking II's guest speaker / chef making Kringla (a Norwegian cookie). A HUGE THANK YOU to Marge for sharing her time and talents with our students. Here are some pictures from day one of making the dough.

Mrs. Schmitt’s amazing Foods II students were given a ground beef challenge. "If I give you one pound of ground beef; what could you make with it?" Wait until tomorrow for their results. Their labs smelled delicious today, so they are cooking up something good!
